8 Simple Side Hustle Ideas to Make an Extra $1,000+ Each Month

Side hustle ideas are all the rage these days.

Everybody and they mama wants to earn a few extra bucks here and there.

Suffice to say…

It’s sexy to have a side hustle right now.

After all, who doesn’t want to add a lil’ spare change to their pockets?

We all do.

More money. Less problems.

But most of the information about side hustles is horrific.

Just plain bad.

People harping on about making $20 bucks here and saving $5 dollars there.

Spending four hours to make $30 USD. That’s $7.50 an hour, fam.

Not my style.

However, I know some of y’all are new to the game.

New to making money without a paycheck.

New to this life of hustling online.

So we gots to start from scratch.

The basics must be covered before we can build real businesses.

P.S: This is one hell of a side hustle. In fact, you can turn it into a full-fledged business if you do things right.

And one of those basics…

Belief.

Confidence.

Knowing that you can make money from your computer screen.

Real cold hard cash that’s exactly like the dough that gets direct deposited in your account each and every month.

Once you have the confidence, then we can go to the next level.

But we need that abundance mentality first.

That’s where the good ole’ fashioned confidence comes from.

Which brings me back to those side hustle ideas.

Pues…

¡Vámonos!

8 Simple Side Hustle Ideas You Can Start Today

If you’re already making money online, these side hustles probably aren’t for you.

Although a couple of em’ may help people already making some cash too. Mainly the ideas at the bottom.

But if you’re new to the game, I’ll help you peep it.

Aka bring in some cold hard cash with the quickness.

Here are a couple side hustle ideas you can start today – for real:

~ Uber + Lyft

If your car isn’t old, then Uber and Lyft might be the absolute easiest way to generate an extra $15-20 USD an hour.

Not too shabby.

Will you want to drive for rideshare services forever?

Hell no.

But it’s a great way to pick up some spare side hustle change.

Plus, you can start today.

Damn near instantly.

Just download the apps, sign up, and make sure you qualify.

No need to learn how to build websites or write copy here.

You already know how to drive, bruh.

~ eBay

eBay was how I made my first bucks online.

I was an avid basketball card collector back in the day.

A nerd.

Well, at least an athletic one – but still slightly nerdy.

I’d rip open packs of basketball cards and then sell the best ones on eBay for a profit.

It was like gambling in a way, but I knew which cards had real value and understood how to get a good price for them on eBay.

This was over a decade ago.

And eBay is still one of the best ways to make a few dollars online.

All you need is some random shit, a PayPal account, and a smartphone to upload photos from.

Pretty simple.

I’d venture to guess many an individual who lives in the western world has 100s, if not 1,000s, of dollars in shit lying around the crib just begging to be sold on eBay.

~ Craigslist

Craigslist is a lot like eBay.

You sell shit you already have around the crib on Craigslist.

People email you and come get your random shit.

Stuff that you don’t want or need any longer.

Again, not complex – but a surefire for many an individual to bring some money in through the Internet.

Hell, some folks have even went around picking up the free stuff people post on Craigslist and then reselling it for a price.

Lots of the furniture people give away has value, but just needs a quick cleaning and some decent photos.

~ Fiverr Gigs

I hate Fiverr.

For the vast majority of people, it’s a huge waste of time.

But from a confidence perspective, it can be important to see money hit your accounts without physically touching a product.

Fiverr can make that happen in under 24 hours.

Here’s how you do it:

Scroll through highly reviewed jobs on Fiverr and find something you can do.

Something that people already want.

A product review, graphic, or something basic.

You’re looking for something that you could do in 10-30 minutes, as you’ll only be paid $5-15 USD for the work.

Once you find something you can do, begin looking for highly reviewed jobs.

Then copy the copywriting from their job description, tweak the hell out of it, and post your own offer.

Use what works for the best of the best on Fiverr.

Then…

Make a better offer.

If the highly reviewed gig offers one product review of 200-300 reviews, you offer two reviews for the same price.

This is how I made $20+ bucks per hour while working full-time in corporate America.

I’d come home and complete Amazon reviews on Fiverr for a hour the first thing after work.

Was an easy extra $500 USD a month while it lasted.

~ Upwork

I used to do Upwork all the time.

About 18-24 months ago.

Had a highly reviewed profile.

Had a number of return clients who hired me each month.

I still couldn’t get my effective hourly rate past $25 USD per.

Why?

Because of a few things:

  • Upwork fees
  • Time spent prospecting
  • Time spent emailing with clients

Even if I was paid well on a job, I’d still end up around $25 USD an hour after all time was accounted for and Upwork took their cut.

I don’t work for clients anymore outside one good friend and I’ve long deleted the profile.

But…

There are more jobs on Upwork than just about anywhere else.

It’s the world’s largest freelance marketplace.

If you can write, build websites, or design graphics – you can make money on Upwork.

The key?

Niche down + charge high rates.

Once you have a few reviews and jobs completed, raise the hell out of your rates and niche down.

Oh and a few tips to get your first job:

  • Read the job description fully
  • Listen to what the poster wants, answer their questions fully, and always send samples
  • Write with personality

I’ve been hiring writers lately and it’s baffling how bad some of the proposals are.

~ Affiliate Marketing

Now we’re getting to some of the better stuff.

Something many of you might not know…

Every person can do affiliate marketing in 2022.

Companies are begging people to promote their products for them.

And many of them pay damn well.

Think about it:

Do you have social media accounts?

I’m guessing many of you have a Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.

Some of you probably have thousands of followers.

But are you making any money from them?!

Because you could be.

You could sell other people’s products to your followers on a variety of social platforms.

Hell!

Why do you think so many Instagram fit models strive to see teas to fat asses?

Because they make money from it.

While I wouldn’t recommend ass shots and teas, you could try something like this.

Let’s say you’re in the insurance industry. Or sales. Or just starting to work online.

You test out a smart drug like Gorilla Mind Rush.

It works for you.

You’re able to get more shit done when taking the stuff.

So, you get on social media and tell your followers about how you made an extra “X’ number of dollars by taking this a couple times a week for the last month.

Say you thought it was bullshit, but once you tried it…

Well, the shit worked.

Then add your affiliate link.

Maybe a couple people try it out.

And you’ve made some money from a side hustle.

~ Cold Calling

If you already have a skill and/or an offer, then there’s no reason not to cold call.

I had a buddy who ran a web design company.

But then his buddy made a software.

A software helped individuals and companies in the insurance agency.

The software cost $5,000 for a lifetime membership.

My friend negotiated to sell the software and get 50% of the sale.

$2,500 per sale.

You get just three of those a month and you’re almost at six-figures per year.

What did my buddy do?

He kept his web design business running. Hired coders in India. Managed the business side.

With his newfound free time, he picked up the phone.

He smiled.

And he sure as hell dialed.

Before he knew it, sales were trickling in.

His best month?

Five sales.

$12,500 USD.

Not a bad side hustle if you ask me.

Sadly, the software went under when a competitor severely underpriced them.

But the point remains the same…

Smiling and dialing works.

Aka cold calling will get you way more cash then sending some emails – unless your copy is damn good.

~ Sell Cheap Stuff For Fun and Profit

There’s websites like Ali Express and DHGate that allow you to buy cheap shit from China and import it to the USA.

This is how many a dropshipping business is built.

And dropshipping is one hell of a business model.

It’s damn profitable, too.

Some use dropshipping as a side hustle.

Others do it full-time.

But there’s one other way to do things…

Where you combine the principles of dropshipping with a private label brand.

You build a brand through social media and then add your label to said products.

Once your brand label is on the product, you’ve differentiated your stuff from other “knockoff” competitors.

Thus, you can sell for a higher price.

My buddy Chris does this and makes a whole hell of a lot of money.

His watch company had taken off and ain’t showing no signs of slowing down.

He’s turned a side hustle into a full-time job and is now building real wealth through his brand.

That’s the type of side hustle worthy of your time.

That’s the type of side hustle worthy of investing long nights into.

P.S: This is how he does it.

That’s Smart Side Hustlin’

The ideas above all can generate income.

And depending on your situation, some may be more appealing than others.

Just remember…

The Internet is exponential in nature.

You can create a side hustle or build a Croatian olive oil empire.

Once money comes in, more is sure to follow it.

So get that gravy training rolling right now, fam.

Do something today.

Bring in a little extra cash within the next 24 hours.

Just pick one of these side hustle ideas and bring in some money.
